Agricultural insurance in regional development

The article examines the scientific views on the role of the insurance system in agricultural insurance in Russia, determines the author's position on the actualization of the regional agricultural insurance system in the Krasnodar Territory in modern conditions, presents a scheme of institutional interaction of agricultural insurance based on legislation, financial security of insurance organizations, meeting the economic needs of safe social reproduction, the influence of pre-institutional measures of the regulator, competitive advantages, informativeness the main strategic objectives of development, trends in practical application, factors affecting the volume of insurance premiums and payments on insurance claims, infrastructure development are outlined, an overview of international agricultural insurance experience is presented, an algorithm for the formation of agricultural insurance with state support is outlined, assessment of human and financial potentials, the main methods and tools in the insurance market, performance indicators for the state, agricultural producers, the main views on the mechanism of digitalization of agricultural insurance interaction with actors, taking into account the tools of blockchain, artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, the distribution of cloud technologies, software, cloud computing strategic initiatives. The scientific discussion is necessary to substantiate the key points of growth of the agricultural insurance system for the agro-industrial complex on innovative tools for the economy of the regions. In the conclusions, the authors consider the strategic objectives of the agricultural insurance system for effective development for the state, insurance organizations, agricultural producers.
