Biologically active high protein feed additive development

The needs of commercial fish farming in the Russian Federation are about 450 thousand tons of feed. For sturgeon and salmon fish, the prevailing amount of feed was imported from abroad. At the moment, there is an acute issue of finding worthy domestic alternatives to feed not only for fish, but also for farm animals and poultry. One of the alternatives to fishmeal is a high-protein concentrate obtained from the larvae of Hermetia Illucens flies. Hermetia Illucens fly larvae are able to process a wide range of substrates such as agricultural by-products and organic waste of animal of vegetable origin, and the protein concentrate obtained from them is a good fat and protein, amino acids, calcium and phosphorus source. The grape flour introduction into the additive composition allows enriching the diet with micro- and macroelements and essential amino acids, fiber. The addition of a probiotic complex to the feed additive will improve the digestive processes in the gastrointestinal tract, thereby improving the body's immune processes and, as a result, increasing the natural resistance.
