New protein-vitamin mineral feed additive application effectiveness to adjust turkey diet

Turkey meat occupies a special place among other birds of agriculture, since it is considered dietary, contains little cholesterol, is well absorbed by the human body, and contains a large amount of useful substances. The creation and implementation of methods that increase the profitability of production due to the efficient use of feed and reduce the cost of poultry products is considered a very promising direction in poultry farming. This problem is proposed to be solved by replacing fishmeal in the feed with a high-protein concentrate obtained from the larvae of Hermetia Illucens flies, the protein concentrate obtained from them is a good source of fat and protein, amino acids, calcium and phosphorus. The introduction of grape flour into the composition of the supplement will enrich the diet with micro- and macroelements and essential amino acids, fiber. An experimental composition of a feed additive for young turkeys was developed. The quantitative ratio of the components is chosen experimentally. The range of values provides a balanced turkey feed additive. Experimental studies of the effectiveness of the use of a new feed additive were carried out on four groups of week-old turkey poults of the Hybrid Converter cross. The birds of the control group were provided with the basic diet adopted on the farm, the turkey poults of the experimental groups received the basic diet and the proposed protein-vitamin feed additive in the amount of 1%, 2% and 3% as part of the main diet. It has been established that the use of the additive is effective, since an increase in weight gain in animals was recorded in the experimental groups. The highest level of profitability was registered in the third experimental group and amounted 42.5%.
