Еffectiveness of the biological preparation Biosphere-Fungymen against rice blast

Today, for agricultural producers, the problem of replacing chemical pesticides used in crop production with biological alternatives is becoming more and more urgent. Although chemical plant protection products are highly effective, they cause the development of resistance in phytopathogens, which leads to the need to increase the doses of fungicides. In addition, the accumulation of synthetic chemicals in soil, water bodies and plant products adversely affects human and animal health. Therefore, it is important to search for new safe fungicides that have a mechanism of action that can prevent the development of resistance in fungi and effectively cope with diseases. In a field study, the effectiveness of the biopreparation Biosphere-Fungimen, Zh (aqueous suspension concentrate), was tested, its basis is a live bacterial culture of Bacillus subtilis B-76, titer of at least 10 ×10 CFU / ml, against the causative agent of blast, the imperfect fungus Pyricularia oryzae Cav., under various processing schemes. In a small-plot experiment, the assessment of the biological effectiveness of the fungicide was carried out according to such indicators as the intensity of development and prevalence of the disease, and the economic efficiency of the biological product was also taken into account in the assessment. Based on the data obtained during the study, the biopreparation Biosfera-Fungimen, Zh at an application rate of 1.5 l / ha in the tillering phase (8-9 leaves) showed good biological efficiency compared to the chemical preparation Akanto plus, which is usually used on the farm, the percentage of intensity of development was (30.2-51.1%), the prevalence of blast (40%), the increase in yield to control (5.5%), the frequency of application was from 10 to 14 days. The data obtained allow us to recommend this biological product as an alternative means in the fight against rice blast.
