The ripening of grape shoots of the western european group of origin in the conditions of the central zone of the Krasnodar territory as the main indicator of obtaining highquality cuttings

In the current conditions, the most acute problem is the development of the domestic viticulture and wine industry. As part of the implementation of the import substitution program, it is necessary to significantly increase the area of grape plantations. When implementing the task, there is a great need for high-quality, competitive domestic planting material. In accordance with GOST 28181-89, only ripened vine cuttings are needed for the cultivation of root-related and grafted grape seedlings. Based on this, the purpose of our study was to study the ripening of grape shoots of the Western European group of origin in the conditions of the central zone of the Krasnodar Territory. Krasnodar Krai is a leader in the production of products of the viticultural and wine industry, therefore, the study of the ripening of shoots in these conditions is especially relevant. During the research, the following calculations and observations were carried out: the average diameter of the stalk and core, the cross-sectional area of the stalk, core and wood, as well as the aging coefficient and the conditional aging coefficient were determined. Compliance with the quality standards of cuttings of the Western European group of origin was determined using the aging coefficient in accordance with GOST 28181-89, as well as using the conditional aging coefficient according to the method of Prof. N.V. Matuzka. The varieties of the Western European varieties with the best indicators of ripening in the conditions of the central zone of the Krasnodar Territory were identified.
