Features of growth and productive qualities of the bright North Caucasian and Grozny breeds in the conditions of SUE "Dawns of the Caucasus"

In the article it was studied that the live weight of the bright North Caucasian breed (group I) in the studied age periods was higher than that of the peers of the Grozny breed (group II). At the age of 4 months, this superiority was 4.3%, at 9 months of age - 9.1%, at 14 months of age - 13.1%. It was found that the pre-slaughter live weight by 12.7%, the mass of the paired carcass - 21.1%, the slaughter weight - 19.7%, the slaughter yield - 2 was higher than that of the bright of the first group. There were no significant differences in the shearing of wool in pure fiber in the yarks of the North Caucasian meat-wool and Grozny fine-wool breeds, and in the output of pure wool, a significant advantage is on the side of the yarks of the North Caucasian meat-wool breed.
