Problems of attracting foreign investment in the agro-industrial complex of Russia in modern economic conditions

The article is devoted to the study of the problems, conditions and prospects of attracting foreign investment in the agro-industrial complex of Russia in modern economic conditions. The results of the assessment of the dynamics of the import and export of foreign investments from the territory of the Russian Federation for the period 2010-2020 are presented. It is revealed that there is a slowdown in the rate of capital outflow by 2019, after the introduction of sanctions in 2014. The main causes of capital outflow from the Russian economy have been identified. The conditions and trends of attracting foreign direct investment in the economy and agriculture of Russia are analyzed. An analysis of the distribution of FDI by industry showed that mining is still the most in demand, but at the same time investors are actively investing in retail and wholesale trade, manufacturing. A study of the dynamics of the distribution of direct investment in agriculture has shown that there are significant fluctuations in the volume of FDI inflows and a decrease in the inflow of FDI into the agricultural sector of the Russian economy. Obstacles to attracting FDI in agriculture are highlighted. At the end of the work, the directions of improving the investment attractiveness of the Russian economy related to the development of internal infrastructure using the program of socio-economic development and the involvement of the mechanism of public-private partnership were identified.
