An attempted experimental application of Geoxe fungicide for the control of the plum fruit rot

The article examines the injuriousness of plum fruit rot in the conditions of JSC "Victoria-92" at the Dinskoy District of the Krasnodar Territory. The biological effectiveness of the pre-harvest fungicide Geoxe, WG (Water Dispersible Granule), used for experimental purposes at JSC "Victoria-92", has been analyzed. The effectiveness of the fungicide averaged 56.7% comparatively to the number of affected plum fruits before treatment. Thus, it is advisable to recommend the plum treatment by this fungicide and its inclusion in the list of permitted for plum preparations.
