Assessment of the agricultural enterprises resource potential components in the context of improvingnthe efficiency of use

The essence of the resource potential of agricultural enterprises, as well as its element-wise structure is examined. The article deals with the analysis of the resource potential of economic entities, the optimal combination of its components and their effective use, taking into account the prevailing conditions in the agricultural sector of the economy. The results of assessing the climatic, personnel, material and technical and innovative potential of a particular agricultural enterprise in dynamics over a three-year period are presented. It is emphasized that the resource potential, acting as a source of sustainable and competitive development of organizations, should be an optimal complementary system, and not a set of separate types of resources. The necessity of increasing the innovative capabilities of enterprises for quick adaptation to constant changes in the economic, social and ecological environment is substantiated. Based on the the comprehensive assessment, the factors of the optimal formation of the economic entity resource potential, which can have a significant impact on the efficiency and sustainability of its functioning, have been identified.
