Calculation of production areas and volumes for seeds of grain crops elite at different stages of its obtaining

Success in the crop production is predetermined by selection, assessment of varieties and their sale, seed certification, agrotechnical methods for obtaining seed, post-harvest processing, storage and seed testing. Before the seeds of a variety come to the manufacturer of marketable products, they pass a relatively long path from the progeny of one ear, panicle, cob, tuber or other plant part. In order to be biologically justified in producing the necessary quantity of elite seeds, in this paper it is proposed, how can be obtained the elite corresponding to the principles of novelty, distinctness, homogeneity and stability, from a small number of ears, most precisely corresponding to the genotype of a variety. Elite production is carried out by qualified specialists with the purpose of maintaining the most valuable economic and biological properties and characteristics of the variety, maintaining distinctness, uniformity, stability by selecting and preventing biological and mechanical pollution, seed sanitation from diseases controlled in seed production, rapid seed multiplication for further renewal of varieties.
