Study of some receipts of making new varieties of fruits on seeds in conditions of southern forest-steppe of Western Siberia

Leguminous crops are the main source of high-quality protein for human nutrition, and the feeding of farm animals and birds. In this regard, it is necessary to increase the total area for grain legume crops, to extend their assortment and to introduce new non-traditional crops. One of the most valuable food grain legumes is bean, which holds the second position in the world farming after soybean. Extension of the assortment and area for cultivation of this crop in Siberia can occur only when new adapted varieties are introduced and spread there, as well as new technologies of cultivation are developed and introduced into agricultural production. This is one of the main conditions for increasing the production efficiency and gross yield for this crop. The demand for this culture in the Siberian region and beyond is quite great, thus our research related to the development of adaptive technologies for cultivating and stabilizing the production of high-quality bean seeds is relevant and important. In this article, we discuss the issues of agrotechnological approaches used in accordance with the soil and climatic conditions of the southern forest-steppe of Western Siberia as well as the features of the bean varietal technology for vegetable and grain purposes of the selection varieties introduced. The presented results confirm that the introduction of adapted new bean varieties into production: grain use of Lukerya, Olive and vegetable assignment of Ryzhkov Memorial. Gold of Siberian selection by Omsk State Agrarian University, as well as varietal technology makes it possible to increase the yield of seeds (3.7-4.8 tons/ha) and expand the range of leguminous crops in the region.
