Perspective use of walnut in agriculture of the Republic of the Crimea

The territory of the Republic of the Crimea has high natural and economic opportunities for the development of intensive walnut growing. The huge demand for fruit products, at an existing deficit in agricultural production largely determines to speed up the breeding process to obtain domestic walnut varieties with high and stable fruits yields capacity. For the rational use of the harvest, it is necessary to regulate it in food products. This allows to extend storage time and the ability to deliver products to the end user over long distances.
