Import substitution in the aic as a factor of ensuring the economic security of Russia

The article analyzes the problem of increasing import dependence in the agro-industrial complex of Russia. The actualization of this issue in the context of the growth of crisis phenomena and the deterioration of the macroeconomic environment is emphasized. The key measures aimed at developing national production and reducing the level of import dependence are presented. The main results of the development of import substitution are confirmed by official statistics. The paper substantiates that the development of national production in the agro-industrial complex is a key factor in increasing the level of economic security of the Russian Federation.
