Digitalization of the activities of economic entities in order to increase economic security

The global economic system is developing in accordance with certain trends, one of which today is digital transformation. The study is devoted to the assessment and analysis of the role of digitalization of economic entities activities in ensuring and maintaining high level of economic security. It is determined that the advantages of digitalization of economic entities activities within the framework of ensuring their economic security are as follows. reducing production and sales costs, reducing the duration of production cycles, accelerating the process of selling goods and services, increasing the level of customer orientation, increasing labor productivity, improving the quality of goods and services, guaranteeing the physical security of subjects based on the use of digital security tools, improving partnerships, etc. The key threats to economic security associated with the digitalization of the management processes of economic entities are: increase in the number of cyber attacks, strengthening of the technological gap between various enterprises, failures in the operation of digital products used, etc. It is established that digital transformation, despite the presence of certain risks, is able to provide economic entities with opportunities for economic growth and, accordingly, strengthen their economic security.
