Mastofit-evalar drug effectiveness in the dishormonal mammary dysplasia therapy in dogs

This article presents research data on the use of the drug Mastofit-evalar in tablet form, as well as in combination with a cream for dyshormonal mammary dysplasia in dogs. The studies were carried out on the basis of the veterinary clinic of the North Caucasus Zonal Research Veterinary Institute - a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Federal Rostov Agrarian Research Center" in the period from 2021 to 2023. The studies were carried out on 3 groups of animals over a period of two months. In the first experimental group, only the tablet form of the drug Mastofit-Evalar was used; in the second experimental group, the tablet form of the drug Mastofit-Evalar was used in combination with the cream Mastofit-Evalar; in the control group, the animals were not treated at all at the request of the owners. Based on the results of the studies, it was established that a comprehensive treatment regimen for dogs with dyshormonal mammary dysplasia using the drug Mastofit-Evalar in tablet form at the rate of 1 tablet 3 times a day for 2 months in combination with the external use of Mastofit-Evalar cream 2 times a day for 2 months has a high degree of effectiveness (85.7%). When using only the tablet form of the drug Mastofit-evalar, the effectiveness of use decreases and amounts to 57.1%.
