Prospects for the implementation of artificial intelligence in the agro-industrial complex of the Krasnodar Territory

The development strategy of the Russian Federation for the period until 2030 is aimed at digitalizing sectors of the economy, including agriculture, which is an integral part of the life of any modern country. The purpose of this article is to conduct a study of the main trends in the information sphere and their impact on the efficiency of enterprises in the agro-industrial complex across the country, region and individual municipal districts. The work presents statistical data on the volume and structure of costs for innovation activities, provides the main socio-economic indicators of agriculture, and also graphically presents statistics on the use of artificial intelligence in the activities of organizations. Particular attention in the article is paid to the analysis of the sown areas of the Krasnodar Territory and its largest municipalities. An integral assessment was carried out using several indicators characterizing the general condition of arable lands. The prospects and feasibility of introducing innovative developments and artificial intelligence into agricultural enterprises of the region are considered.
