Productivity and yield structure of VSC RAS potato hybrids in the North Caucasus Region

In the Republic of North Ossetia, the average potato yield is 25-28 kg/ha. The key to creating high-yielding varieties is the selection of the best hybrids in the climatic zone of North Ossetia. The article presents data on the crop structure and productivity results of potato hybrids of the Vladikavkaz Scientific Center in the conditions of the North Caucasus region in 2022. The maximum yield (47.5 t/ha) was observed in hybrids 15/2961-3 and 8/2869. The studied samples showed high marketability: 8/2869 - 95%, 18/2875.14 - 95%. According to the results of the nursery study, 39 hybrids were identified, which will move to the next test nursery.
