Development of innovative technology for creating large-grain varieties of rice, resistant to biotic and abiotic environmental factors with high grain quality

The main issues of rice breeding work, aimed at creating a model of large-grain variety for rice-growing enterprises of Krasnodar region, are considered in the article. The morphophysiological traits of intensive, coarse-grained and extensive rice varieties on the optimal background of mineral nutrition were studied. The results of complex evaluation by quality traits of 40 varieties and variety samples of rice are presented. Six variety varieties (VNIIR 6910-1, VNIIR 7070, VNIIR 7083, VNIIR 7206, VNIIR 7213, VNIIR 7228), which exceeded the standard by 5.4-14.5 t/ha in productivity, were selected in comparison with coarse-grained variety-standard Favorit. According to the results of the research, a coarse-grained variety of rice, Forsazh, was selected and submitted for the State variety trial, which was approbated in the production conditions of LLC "P.P. Lukyanenko farming enterprise".
