Сhanges in the content of abscisic, salicylic and jasmonic acids in winter wheat seedlings under of exogenous hormones and water deficiency

The effect of presowing seed treatment with heteroauxin, kinetin, and gibberellin on the content of ABA, jasmonic (JA) and salicylic (SA) acids in winter wheat seedlings grown at different moisture deficiency levels was studied using chromato-mass spectrometric analysis. Seed treatment with phytohormones significantly changed the content of ABA, SA, and JA, and the nature of the change depended on the water deficiency level in the germination medium. With a decrease in substrate moisture content from 80 to 50%, the content of ABA in the tissues of control plants decreased 2.8 times, JA - by 2.7, and SA - 1.6 times. Treatment with auxin under conditions of optimal humidity (80%) reduced the content of ABA 1.8 times, SA by 3.2, and JA 2.3 times. With a decrease in humidity to 50%, the content of these hormones in plants treated with heteroauxin increased to the level of control plants at 80% humidity. Treatment with kinetin, compared with control plants, reduced the content of ABA by 8%, SA by 31%, and increased the content of JA by 16%. A decrease in humidity to 50% in the tissues of plants treated with kinetin reduced the content of ABA by 11%, JA - by 63%, and increased the content of SA by 15%. When treated with heteroauxin and kinetin at 505 humidity, the growth of seedling biomass was stimulated by 14-18%, and at a humidity of 30%, growth was inhibited by 12-20%. It is suggested that such a nature of the phytohormones action on the stimulation and inhibition of biomass accumulation is due to the specific interaction of ABA and JA during the germination of wheat plants in the dark.
