Influence of the «Fekord-2012» enzyme on the assimilation of compound feed by quails aged 0-28 days, containing malt sprouts, characterized by high fiber level

The article presents data on the study and the effect on live weight growth and quail development at the age of 0-28 days of non-traditional feed - malt sprouts in compound feed and the Fekord-2012 enzyme in order to establish the effect on the digestibility of compound feed. The conducted research showed that in the experimental groups, where the content of malt sprouts in the compound feed varied from 1.4 to 17.4%, and crude fiber from 5% to 11% did not negatively affect the increase in live weight and the development of quail, and in the groups, where Fekord-2012 was included, an increase in live weight gain was noted due to better assimilation of compound feed. So, for example, in the control group without enzyme, where the malt sprouts were 1.4%, and the crude fiber in the compound feed was 5.0%, the average live weight by day 28 was 136.84 g, in the control group with the enzyme the live weight was 135, 73 g; in experimental group 2 without enzyme, where malt sprouts were already 6.0% in the feed, and crude fiber 7.0%, live weight was 132.19 g, in experimental group 2 with enzyme - 133.4 g; in experimental group 3 without enzyme with 13.0% of malt sprouts in compound feed and 9.0% of crude fiber, live weight was 131.97 g, in experimental group 3 with enzyme - 132.86 g, in experimental group 4 with malt sprouts 17.4% in compound feed and 11.0% of crude fiber, the average live weight was 125.74 g, and in experimental group 4 with the enzyme, the live weight was 130.25 g. It can be concluded that the use in compound feed for quail malt sprouts characterized by a high fiber content, can be possible without negative consequences, and most effectively with the use of an enzyme. In our experiment, it was the Fekord-2012 enzyme.
