Faсtors of rice production efficiency increasing in the Kuban

The largest rice-producing region is the Krasnodar Territory, which accounts for about 80% of the gross production in the country. The gross harvest of rice grain on average over the past 5 years is 779.2 thousand tons with an average yield of 63.8 kg/ha. As a result of the study, the factors determining the efficiency of rice production in the Kuban were identified. The dynamics of the main economic indicators of culture production, the cost structure are studied. It was revealed that with the increase in production volume, there was also an increase in economic indicators of crop production: the cost of one ton of rice grain for this period increased by 12.0% and amounted to 13486.1 rubles, profitability - by 12.0%, from 34.1% to 58.2%. The analysis of the cost structure allowed us to determine the reserves of cost reduction and measures aimed at its optimization. To increase the efficiency of the rice industry, it is necessary to increase the acreage, production volume, create a balance between production costs and crop yield, subsidize the cost of rice production, create conditions for providing the population with safe domestic rice groats by improving rice cultivation technology, using new highly productive varieties of Kuban breeding, the use of new plant protection products and mineral fertilizers domestic production.
