On the question of projects prioritization of the agroindustrial complex enterprises

The article is devoted to the problem of optimizing the process of managing project portfolios and describing the developed methodology for two-stage prioritization of projects using criterion profiles (K-profiles). The relevance of this issue is due to the fact that without a well-organized process of forming a portfolio of projects in organizations of the agro-industrial complex, it becomes almost impossible to effectively plan and allocate resources, both material and labor and financial. In scientific sources, various authors propose a variety of approaches to solving the problem of project prioritization. These are various methods of ranking, scoring, expert assessments. However, using them directly becomes ineffective for companies with a large number of launched or planned projects. In this regard, the authors propose to introduce the so-called preliminary selection of projects based on criteria profiles. These profiles can be created for projects belonging to different groups of programs implemented in the organization, depending on the size of the projects, other factors, and their combinations. For each K-profile, lists of criteria and their required values are specified. Further, at the stage of preliminary selection, for each project from the register of the enterprise, the corresponding profiles are selected and the values of the project criteria and the values of the profile criteria are compared. If a project meets the conditions of its profile, it is considered to have passed the selection. The article also provides an example of using the described technique and draws the appropriate conclusions.
