Modernization of the material and technical base of agricultural production

The analysis and assessment of the current state of the material and technical base of agricultural production in Russiahas have been conducted based on the study of the dynamics of relevant indicators. Negative trends were identified: a drop in the level of energy supply of agricultural enterprises of the Russian Federation, a continuous increase in the load of arable land per unit of agricultural machinery, the aging of the machine and tractor fleet, a significant slowdown in the pace of updating the technical base of agricultural entities. All that despite the preparation and implementation of a departmental project for the technical modernization of the agro-industrial complex. The directions of technical modernization activation process of agricultural production are proposed: strengthening the resource base of state leasing development institutions, guaranteeing assistance from the state, applying the experience of developed countries in the distribution of state support funds, ensuring strict control over the targeted use of financial resources allocated for the modernization of the material and technical base.
