Resource potential of rural areas and features of its use

A comprehensive analysis of the elements of the rural areas resource potential is carried out, its essential characteristics are revealed and distinctive features are systematized, which include: territorial, social, economic, administrative and cultural aspects. The reasons for the need to increase the efficiency of using the resource potential of rural areas in the context of modern challenges related to military conflicts, the coronavirus pandemic, and the increasing unfriendly countries sanctions pressure on the most important sectors of the Russian economy are established. It is proved that an integrated approach to the development and use of a rural territory resource potential should include all aspects of its institutional environment functioning, taking into account the social, cultural, environmental and economic components of the rural population life. The classification of the resources of the rural territory is carried out depending on the tradition, alternative value, the degree of territory ownership, the degree of use, economic and physical nature. The indicators characterizing various elements of resource potential are systematized. Increasing the efficiency of the use of elements of the resource potential of a rural area will give it the opportunity to adapt to the complex conditions of a constantly transforming market and achieve development indicators meeting modern challenges.
