Growing peculiarities for seedlings of pearrootstock forms (Pyrus communis L.) in the Crimea

The studying results on the influence of seeds sowing terms of Pyrus communis L., Pyrus elaeagrifolia Pall, Pyrus salicifolia Pall and Bretshneider pear (Syan-Li, Min-Yue-Li, Tsy-Li, Chan-Bay-Li) on germination and growth of seedlings in the conditions of foothill part of the Crimea have been given. It is determined that the best time for planting Pyrus elaeagrifolia Pall and Pyrus salicifolia Pall is the third decade of October; Bretshneider pear - the first decade of November; Pyrus communis L. is better to plant in February thaw which is typical for weather conditions on peninsula. Keeping these terms of planting the germination is respectively 45, 53, 67-72, 85% and the most part of plants satisfy the standards, that is the diameter of root collar is 4-10 mm.
