Egg parameters as a factor of broiler chickens future high meat productivity

The article presents the results of the influence of the main physical parameters of eggs on the hatching and further meat productivity of broiler chickens of the Ross-308 cross in a poultry farm. It was found that the group of chickens with a share of more than 70% of the weight of the eggs from which they hatched showed the best rates of live weight gain than the group with a share of no more than 70%, thereby showing the effectiveness of this method of selection. The second category of chickens surpassed the first in terms of such indicators as absolute and average daily growth, exceeding their peers by 27.6 g and 0.7 g, respectively. There were no differences in the degree of preservation of the grown experimental broilers in both groups and it amounted to 98 percent.
