Foreign economic aspects of ensuring the economic security of the agro-industrial complex of the country

The article is devoted to the study of foreign economic aspects of ensuring the economic security of the agro-industrial complex of the country. The tasks in the sphere of ensuring the foreign economic security of the Russian Federation are defined, the state and dynamics of foreign trade indicators of the Russian Federation, including in the agro-industrial sector, are analyzed. It is noted that to date, exports have undergone enormous changes in their structure, volumes and direction of movement of goods and services, due to modern economic processes, transformation in the production base and consumption system. The assessment of the foreign economic aspects of the economic security of the agro-industrial complex of the country is given. The priority directions are based on the policy of export diversification through effective exploitation and combination of existing competitive advantages, deepening the processing of agricultural products, consistent involvement of more complex factors of production in export-oriented activities. At the same time, innovative diversification of exports of agricultural products should be carried out on the basis of the formation of new clusters of competitive industries, concentrating on the final stages of the technological cycle.
