Models development for describing the complexity of business process performing elements in an agro-industrial organization

Agrarian and Industrial Complex is a strategically important branch of economy that ensures the country's food security and is characterized by capital intensity, high costs, risks and force majeure circumstances, which requires constant search for mechanisms and methods to reduce costs and improve the manufactured products quality and competitiveness. One of the methods that ensure the agricultural organizations efficiency increase is business processes outsourcing. The current state of this area of activity shows that along with the dynamic development of outsourcing services in Russia, a number of problems have been identified that hinder this process. One of these problems is weak methodological support. To date, poorly developed and formalized methods that allow you to make an informed management decision, which process to outsource in the organization, and which process to continue to develop independently due to the availability of the necessary resources for its implementation. The authors previously proposed an approach that allows us to evaluate the organization’s business processes according to two integral criteria "Strategic importance" and "Comparative Efficiency" and using the matrix evaluation method to make a decision on the need to outsource the process. The purpose of this article is to develop a model for representing business processes, to propose a system of quantitative indicators detailing integral evaluation criteria, as well as to develop mathematical models for describing the complexity of a business process performing elements, allowing calculations of one of the proposed indicators (the specific weight of the process (function) in the total complexity of work).
