Intensive golshta bulls feeding under industrial technology

In recent years, a beef cattle breeding industry has been created in the Krasnodar Territory, it is assumed that its creation will meet the needs of the population in beef. Since the number of beef cattle in the region is insufficient, many farms raise and feed bulls of dairy and combined breeds of cattle to obtain beef. In order to increase the production of beef, along with an increase in the fattened livestock of animals, intensive breeding is being introduced. The level of intensity of growing and fattening of bulls is judged by such indicators as: the value of average daily gains, the age of reaching the maximum live weight and the cost of feed and labor per unit of production. The purpose of this work was to study the meat productivity of Holstein gobies, in the conditions of intensive technology of their rearing up to 14 months of age. During the experiment, the average daily gains of Holstein bulls were not the same. Up to 3 months of age, they were 945 g. In the period from 3 to 6 months of age, this figure averaged 1216 g. In the next three months, the increase was about 1290 g. From 9 months of age to the moment removal of bull calves from fattening, at the age of 14 months, from them an increase of 1400 was obtained. allows you to receive from them average daily gains and removable live weight that is not inferior to bull calves of meat breeds.
Keywords: Holstein breed, bulls, rearing, feeding, live weight, gross and average daily gain.
