Technological basis for the protection of agricultural plants from diseases on the example of rice

Rice is affected by, a wide range of pests, which significantly reduce yield and grain quality. The main role among economically significant diseases is played by blast, the causative agent of the imperfect fungus Pyriculariaoryzae Cav. In the complex of measures that protect rice crops from blast, the cultivation of resistant varieties is the most effective and environmentally friendly. However, the high plasticity of the pathogen and the constantly forming nature-forming processes lead to the emergence of new virulent races that can attack previously resistant varieties. Agrotechnical methods reduce the harmfulness of the disease and increase the resistance of plants. However, there is still little work devoted to the study of varietal reactions to changes in growing technology, especially in connection with the control of resistance to pathogens. In our work, data are presented on a 54,0-78,0% reduction in losses from blast with wide-row seeding. The sowing of the variety was carried out at low 4,5 million and high sowing rates 9 millio), wide 30,0 cm and narrow aisles of 15,0 cm. Since varieties Ivushka has a large number of long leaves, dense sowing of more than 100 kg/ha of seeds of the variety and the application of fertilizer doses (more than 150 kg/ha d.v.) caused the formation of weak, with low tillering and increased height of plants prone to lodging, not blowing crops, increase the infectious background. On 20 varieties, a decrease in the probability of blast infection at low up to 90 kg f. per hectare doses of nitrogen nutrition.
