Influence of antioxidant additive on dairy productivity of lacting cows

To increase milk productivity of cows, along with the genetic factor plays an important role forage factor. For obtaining stable high milk production it is necessary to have a strong forage base. Currently, the majority of farms used high-yielding Holstein animals, which are very demanding to the composition of the ration. It is known that highly productive animals need quality feed full rations and the observance of technology of feeding, which contributes to the achievement of high efficiency of feed use. Currently, the increasing of milk productivity of cows, optimization of their reproductive functions are impossible without the use in rations of various additives and drugs. Particularly relevant elements in animal nutrition are carotene, vitamin E and selenium. The article examines the effectiveness of using antioxidant, selenium-containing preparation Cartel when feeding lactating cows, and assess the influence of tested additives on productive performance of experimental animals. The research results allowed to establish that the inclusion of the preparation Cartel in the diets of dairy cows had a positive impact on animal productivity, the quality of the products, and also have a positive impact on the economic efficiency of milk production. Studies found that the use of a complex antioxidant, the universe contains additive Carcel, in the amount of 5 ml per 1 kg of dietary dry matter, allows to increase milk productivity and increase the fat content in it. Profit from the use of antioxidant supplements per cow for 90 days of lactation amounted to 1,082 rubles.
