Exogenous phytoghormones effect on the growth of winter wheat, depending on the seeds germination temperature and humidity

The effect of exogenous phytohormones: auxin (in the form of heteroauxin), cytokinin (in the form of kinetin) and gibberellin (in the form of G-4) on the winter wheat seeds germination rate at different temperatures and substrate humidity was studied. It was shown that exogenous auxin and cytokinin at optimal temperature and humidity stimulated the growth of seedlings, and under stress conditions, on the contrary, they inhibited the growth processes. Treatment with gibberellin, regardless of the conditions resulted in stimulation of winter wheat seedling growth. The change in the growth rate under the effect of exogenous phytohormones was associated with the change in the catalase activity of the seedling tissues: when the growth processes were stimulated, the catalase activity of the tissues of the aboveground parts of the plants decreased, and when the growth was inhibited, it increased.
