Influence of ecotope on productivity of a two-source meadow in the conditions of the Novgorod region of the North-West of Russia

The data on the study of the formation of two-source grass in various ecotopes in the Novgorod region are presented. The ecological conditions of various ecotopes had a significant impact on the yield of the two-source meadow. The variability of water-air and other dependent habitat regimes from year to year formed the basis of the species composition of communities under the hydroecological narrowness of species, determined the pattern of their placement, the level of productivity and the variability of different years. The ecological conditions of the floodplain ecosystem were the most favorable for the formation of cereal phytocenosis. The abundance of various plant species led to the most complete use of all environmental factors by the two-source cenosis and confirmed the high productivity of the floodplain meadow. At the same time, the output of exchange energy more than 14 times exceeded the energy costs for the cultivation of the floodplain two-source meadow.
