Changes of stomatal conductance to CO2 leaf buckwheat as a result of breeding on seed production

In the conditions of field and vegetation experiments on intact plants in real time for the first time studied varietal characteristics of stomatal conductivity of CO2 leaves at different time of creation of variety samples of buckwheat. The objects of research were 11 varieties of buckwheat of different breeding periods, which were conditionally divided into 3 groups - local, old and modern varieties. Stomatal conductivity (UP), photosynthesis rate (IF) and transpiration rate (IT) were determined on intact plants in real time using a portable gas analyzer Li - 6400 XT (USA, Li-COR). It is shown that the value of up significantly increased as a result of crop breeding, which had a positive impact on the intensity of photosynthesis and its productivity. It is established that in modern varieties diffusion of carbon dioxide molecules through the stomata is most actively carried out during the period of mass flowering, formation and filling of fruits in the leaves of the upper tiers in the afternoon - from 9 to 11 hours. As a result, it was concluded that stomatal conductivity of leaves plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism of buckwheat plants, having a positive effect not only on the intensity of transpiration, but also photosynthesis.
