Epizotical situation, symptoms and prophylaxis of nodular dermatitis in the Krasnodar territory

Nodular dermatitis of cattle refers to emergent, transboundary, dangerous infectious diseases. The spread of this disease in neighboring countries significantly affects their economies. This article presents an epizootic situation of nodular dermatitis in cattle in the Krasnodar Territory. Nodular dermatitis of cattle in the province was recorded from May to August 2016 in five farms of the region. In natural conditions nodular dermatitis is most susceptible to cattle, especially cultured breeds, as well as zebu. The main source of pathogens are large animals and virus carriers. Infection is transmitted through blood-sucking insect-mosquitoes, flies, which are, apparently, mechanical vectors, can spread by separate species of birds. The farms observed acute, severe and atypical forms of nodular dermatitis in cattle. Measures have been taken to prevent and prevent the spread of nodular dermatitis in cattle in the Krasnodar Territory. In unfavorable foci, disinfection, disinfection, and deratization were carried out.
