Tierage of soybean plants and its effect on the yielding properties of seeds

The influence of the location of the beans on the mother plant on the sowing and yielding properties of soybean seeds is studied. The seeds formed in various vertical and horizontal tiers of soybean plants are compared among themselves. Morphological differences between the seeds, which have different localization on the plant, are analyzed. The best seeds are formed in the medium height of the soybean plant at the ends of the branches. In this connection, it seems expedient to study the biochemical features of soybean seeds formed in different tiers of the parent plant, as well as the possibility of selecting seeds with the highest level of yielding properties by calibrating the original sample with the help of appropriate gratings. The observed regularities can be of practical importance both in the selection of soybeans and in the seed production of this crop, providing the opportunity to select sowing seeds with a maximum level of yielding properties. New marker features for soybean selection for productivity are proposed. Recommendations are formulated for the seed production of this crop.
