Research of corn-cob motion in roller thresher

The motion of the corn cob in the process of threshing with a tworolling threshing machine, the construction of which is protected by RF patent for useful model No 162558 is considered. The distinctive feature of grind is the implementation of the working body in the form of a roller having the shape of a ratchet in cross section. This type of working organs passed practical verification only at the level of experimental samples. Therefore, the present article an analytical study of the threshing process was undertaken, in which the differential equation of rotational motion of the cob was obtained. The equation establishes the relationship between the geometrical dimensions and technological properties of corn cob with the basic parameters of roller grind.
