The effect of tillage method and herbicide on the productivity of maize in the conditions of the flat-erosion landscape

The results of a study to determine the effect of various soil treatment methods and mixtures of herbicides against weed plants in maize agrocenosis are discussed. The aim of the research was to determine the influence of the methods of basic tillage (dumping plowing and chisel free tillage) and herbicides (Callisto 0.25 l / ha + Milagro 1 l / ha and Prima 0.5 l / ha + Titus 50 g / ha) for agrophysical properties of soil, estimation of biological and economic efficiency of herbicides. It has been established that in the soil-free cultivation of the soil, due to the more compact formation of soil in the plow horizon, maize plants lagged behind in growth. The accumulation of wet and dry mass by weeds, regardless of the method of basic soil cultivation, was reduced to a minimum when applying Callisto herbicides (0.25 l / ha) + Milagro (1 l / ha). The results of mathematical processing showed that the yield of grain varied from 81.5 to 83.2 c / ha for HCP05 factor A = 1.2 centners per hectare, that is, The difference in yields of 1.7 centners per hectare is reliable and an advantage over the dumping of soil. By factor B (herbicides), the yield of corn grain varied from 68.2 to 90.8 c / ha for HCP05, the factor B = 1.5 c / ha. The introduction of Callisto (0.25 l / ha) + Milagro (1 l / ha) increased the yield to 90.8 c / ha, the increment was 22.8 c / ha or 33.1%. The introduction of Prima (0.5 l / ha) + Titus (50 g / ha) yielded an additional 20.3 c / ha or 29.8% with a yield of 88.5 c / ha. This allows us to recommend a differentiated approach to the choice of methods for treating soil and herbicides.
