Features of establishing and cultivation technology of the apple-tree vegetative rootstocks initial nurseries

Transition to production of apple vegetative rootstocks the highest quality is the main trend of the modern nursery. With the increasing requirements of phytosanitary status and quality of apple vegetative rootstocks used for seedlings of this culture, has increased the need to study the characteristics of industrial technology creation of the initial mother plants vegetative rootstocks of apple. The work describes the features of industrial technology establishing and cultivation of apple vegetative rootstocks mother plants in this category. Submitted 4 main stages of formation of the initial mother plants: 1) Selection of plants in the initial uterine plants vegetative rootstocks of apple. Selected visually healthy bushes, distinguished by high productivity, strong development, the best maturation of the shoots, fully meet the varietal characteristics. 2) Testing of selected bushes - candidates in initial plants on the presence of viral or phytoplasmal diseases. Selected accessions tested for the presence of hidden infections with the use of modern methods of PCR, ELISA and using biological testing on indicators. 3) Sanitation. In the case of a positive test result according to one or more indicators of the accessions pass on improvement in specialized laboratories and research centers. 4) Technological methods, methodological guidelines and approaches mentioned in the article, developed in scientific laboratories of horticultural and other institutions of our country, and are sufficient scientific and methodological basis for industrial production of apple vegetative rootstocks the highest quality categories in Russia.
