Interaction with international organizations is the necessary proviso for expansion of the export capacity of the Russian Federation

OECD has 14 different directorates dealing with different issues. OECD has the supreme governing body - the Council, which works on the so-called principle of accommodation: decisions must be taken unanimously in consensus, large countries can not impose their will on small countries. In the field of agriculture, the OECD deals with the issues of rationing with vegetables, fruits, agricultural equipment, as well as seed production and seeding material. The purpose of certification systems is the production of seeds that meet the requirements of varietal typology and purity. We are talking about the production of identical and pure seeds, about ensuring the quality of the seed. And all this happens on separate varieties. And these seeds are controlled, there is an appropriate mechanism. Quality assurance is ensured through formal seed certification. Variety certification of seeds and their subsequent control in the world market are carried out, since the seed material, seeds intended for international trade, must meet certain criteria. Basic principles of seed quality regulation are following: high-quality seeds certification for trade on the world market, which ensures high quality of the material; use of common labels and certificates for seeds intended for trade on the world market; application of the rules established in the 8 schemes of the OECD varietal certification; application of rules and regulations for seed control established in the system of vegetable crops; systems are publicly available to all OECD or UN members; member countries undertake to strictly observe the rules and regulations established by the systems.
