Inter-farmer cooperation development factors and trends

The inter-farmer cooperation process and factors of its development were paid special attention in this study. Monographic, historical and logical, inductive and deductive research methods served as a methodological basis. A historical review of stages of inter-farmer cooperation development helped to identify the objective conditions of the inter-farmer cooperation formation, to justify measures of state support to farmers and cooperatives. Benefits of cooperation not only in the field of marketing of agricultural products, but also in logistics and production service are described. Our study demonstrates a positive experience of fаrmers’ cooperatives development in Russia. The stages of development of the cooperative system are considered as well, which helps not only to maintain and create favorable conditions for peasant farms, but also actively influences the specialization of farms, the technology used and means of communication. A promising model of inter-farmer cooperation is proposed for small businesses in agriculture at the regional level. This system will allow having a market structure with a minimal number of intermediaries that will significantly increase economic benefits to producers and processors of agricultural products. According to the results of the study, inter-farmer cooperation development is suggested, which will form a rural cooperative system that interacts with big business and government and implements the economic interests of the peasants. This form will help to strengthen the competitiveness, scientific and technological progress and attractiveness of the rural areas, the acceleration of bringing finished products to the final consumer, as well as to improve the efficiency of resource use and production in general.
