Main trends in the development of the world food market in the context of globalization

The world food market has been examined, the main exporters of food are identified and possible prospects for its development are presented. Food security indices and FAO food price indices were reviewed. Factors leading to an increase in the number of hungry people in the world have been identified, posing a real threat to food security. An analysis of Russia's position on the world food market was carried out and the main problem of the domestic economy was identified. A number of measures have been developed for the effective development of the Russian Agrarian and Industrial Complex and the revival of national industry.
