Predatory bug Macrolophus caliginosus Wagner fertility depending on food substrates

The results of studies of the influence of different types of food on the duration of the reproductive period and fertility of females of Macrolophus caliginosus Wagner are presented. It is possible to fully breed the predatory bug Macrolophus caliginosus Wagner on the eggs of the shrimp Artemia sp, which optimizes its use as an agent of biological protection of indoor plants. The fertility of females was studied on the following types of food: eggs of Artemia 1 (produced in Israel), eggs of Artemia 2 (produced in Barnaul), eggs of the grain moth Sitotroga cerealella Oliv.
