Methodology for determining the stage of the life cycle of organizations that are part of agro-industrial corporations

Corporate integrated structures are the most important segment and mechanism of development of the agro-industrial sector of the country's economy. That is why the development and adaptation of management methods and improving the efficiency of corporate integrated structures are becoming an urgent and in-demand task, including for the agro-industrial sector. One of the important problems of managing corporate integrated structures is the reengineering of their management system and, as a consequence, the design, evaluation and selection of organizational structures. The structure of the management system of the corporate integrated structure usually includes organizations, the number of which can vary from three to four to several dozen. Thus the organizations which are a part of the corporate integrated structure, can be heterogeneous on degree (stage) of the development that generates a set of the factors influencing efficiency of functioning of management system of all corporate integrated structure. Accordingly, the choice of organizational structure from a variety of alternatives based on the results of their evaluation should be based on knowledge of the stage of the life cycle of the organization. The article presents a methodology for determining the stage of the life cycle of the organization. The comparative analysis of the existing models of the life cycle of organizations allowed to choose the approach of and as the basic theory. Adizes, describing the stages of birth, development and aging of the organization that gives the most comprehensive view of the key functional load of the organisation as a whole and elements of the organizational structure in the process design or reengineering, the degree of centralization or decentralization of management system, etc. Proposed method consists of three stages, combining quantitative and qualitative methods of evaluation, and developed algorithms to formalize the processing of the research results.
