Influence of E. coli inactivated toxin on animal blood indicators

The fundamental objective for the development of any stock raising branche is to ensure the well-being against infectious diseases. Colibacillosis is a factor infection that causes significant economic damage to agriculture. As toxic E. coli variants play a significant role in animal pathology, the development of specific biopreparations is of relevance to veterinary science. When studying the effect of intestinal stick toxins on animals, it is important to know the activation mechanism of the cell link of immunity and, the quantitative and qualitative level of hematological indicators. As such, the purpose of this work was to study the dynamics of blood values under the influence of intestinal stick toxins in inactivated form, individually and collectively. Laboratory white rats were used as a experimental model and were divided into 5 groups, 5 animals in each. The study used observation methods and an instrumental hematological method of counting red and white blood cells. The blood sampling was collected on 1,3,5 and 7 days. The injected preparations were a culture suspension of toxins E. coli - LT, ST, STX and a complex preparation containing 3 intestinal stick toxins inactivated with formalin. As a result of the studies carried out, the hematological indicators change dynamics within time intervals was revealed. E. coli toxins subjected to inactivation have immunostimulatory effect on laboratory animals. The antigenic properties are more pronounced in polyanatoxin in the first 72 hours after administration, manifesting in erythrocytosis, neutrophilia in the first day and subsequent lymphocytosis.
