Cоmbined graminicide Evolution, CE to protect sunflower crops

Currently, one of the most relevant areas for improving means of weed control in crops is the creation of combined preparations based on two or more active substances. Working in this direction, Arista LifeScience SAS (France) created the herbicide Evolution, EC, which contains 140 g/l of clethodim and 70 g/l of hizalofop-P-ethyl. For two years at the experimental base of the All-Russian Research Institute of Biological Plant Protection, in accordance with the work programs of the manufacturer's company, registration tests were carried out on the Evolution herbicide, EC on the sunflower crops during the growing season. It has been shown that the use in the doses of 0.35 and 0.5 l/ha in a mixture with Amigo Star surfactant (0.5% of the working fluid volume) provides effective (92-100%) inhibition of annual grass weeds. In this case, the phytotoxic effect of the drug on the culture was not observed. At the same time, within 5-7 days after the application of the herbicide, there was a cessation of growth and development, yellowing of the leaves of the grass weeds. Their full death came in 2-3 weeks. The use of herbicide Evolution, EC allowed obtaining a reliable sunflower crop increase in comparison with the control.
