Assessment of agro-climatic resources of the Anapa-Taman subzone of the southern fruit zone of the Krasnodar Territory and Helmand Province of the Republic of Afghanistan to determine the possibility of apricot cultivation

The results of soil studies (laboratory method) of grounds with an area of 15,0 hectares in the Anapa-Taman subzone of the southern fruit-growing zone of the Krasnodar Territory and the Helmand province of the Republic of Afghanistan for garden availability are presented. It has been established that in the Anapa-Taman subzone there are favorable conditions for establishing apricot plantations on both seed rootstocks and vegetative rootstocks. In conditions of the Helmand Province of the Republic of Afghanistan, it’s favorable to plant varieties of apricot plantations on seed rootstocks from local forms of apricot.
