Evaluation of ecological plasticity and stability of promising potato varieties in the conditions of Priamurye

The article presents the results of the evaluation of 25 promising potato varieties on the basis of yield, plasticity and stability indicators in the conditions of Priamurye for 2015-2017 years. Varieties Ketskiy (32,2 t/ha), Ocharovanie (30,3 t/ha), Riv`era (29,7 t/ha), Ognivo (29,0 t/ha), Vitessa (29,2), Karatop (28,5) were picked out in terms of the yield indicator. Three groups of varieties were picked out in accordance with the regression coefficient (bi), which characterizes the plasticity of the variety. Yubilyar and Hozyain (bi> 1) were referred to varieties of intensive type. Variety Vulkan (the regression coefficient is close to 1) is a plastic variety. Varieties Udacha, Fermer, Labela, Rodrigo, Nikita, Odissey, Lugovskoy and others (bi <1) were referred to the neutral type. The application of the method of adaptability evaluation made it possible to establish potato varieties with the coefficient of sign that is greater than 1 - Ketskiy (1,15), Ocharovanie (1,08), Riv`era, Vitessa and Chaika (1,05), Primadonna and Ognivo (1,03), Ryabinushka and Rodrigo (1,02), Karatop and Impala (1,01). According to the results of a comprehensive evaluation, the most productive and adapted potato varieties were picked out for growing in the region: early ripening varieties are Riv`era, Vitessa, Ognivo, Primadonna; mid-ripening varieties - Ocharovanie, Ketskiy, Ryabinushka; mid-late ripening variety - Chaika.
