Bacteriological examination in esherihioz

The work was carried out on two farms "Russia" and "50 years of October" Neklinovsky District of Rostov Region. In each of the investigated samples small gram-negative nonspore with rounded ends bacilli were detected, arranged singly or in pairs, which is typical for bacteria of colon bacillus group. To determine the formation of indole the culture wase sown in a tube with Hottinger broth. In all samples, except № 1371 the presence of the red layer on the surface of the culture fluid was noted, indicating a positive reaction. To determine the ability to utilize citrate the culture was sown on the surface of Simmons environment. All the samples, except № 1371, fermented glucose, sucrose, lactose and attracts, which is characteristic of Escherichia coli. For the determination of hydrogen sulfide of culture seeding was done on transfermy agar. In the sample № 1371 blackening in the direction of the nutrient medium was observed, indicating the formation of hydrogen sulfide, and in the other investigated samples the blackening of the medium was not detected. To determine serogrouping accessories, the selected isolates of bacculture identified by enzymatic activity to the species Escherichia coli, was investigated in the reaction of agglutination on glass with glutinously complete adhesive caliciviridae. Agglutination Reaction (AR) was set according to the standard technique in accordance with the current guidance on the application of these serums. Culture that do not agglutinate with anti-adhesive caliciviridae was identified by for O-antigen in AR on the glass with a set of polyvalent and serogrouping agglutinating O-culicivorus in accordance with guidance on their application. As a result of the studies the adhesive A20 antigen was identified. All cultures of E. coli isolated from the liver with the gall bladder, spleen, intestines, kidneys, bones, fecesof dead calves and having the the antigen A20 have a 100% pathogenicity for white mice. In addition, on the farm "Russia" the pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa was selected from one calve.
