The effectiveness of the stability interspecific hybrids of the Prunus genus to leaf spot

Over the last decade in the Krasnodar territory, due to changes in climate conditions, increased damage one of the most dangerous diseases of stone fruit-leaf spot (pathogen - Blumeriella jaapii (Rehm) Arx). Study of samples of cherry species revealed their differences between resistance to leaf spot. Samples that are not affected by Blumeriella jaapii populations either on a natural infectious background or under artificial infection are isolated. However, when assessing the resistance to clone fungus, a differentiation of the samples on the effectiveness of resistance was identified. As immune to populations of wild samples cherry species are differentiated by resistance to pathogen clones, conducted the determination of effectiveness of the resistance of the samples to further their use in genetic and selection studies. From the 16 interspecific hybrids of the Prunus genus breeding NCRIHaV studied to 30-52 clones fungus, high efficiency resistance (100% avirulent clones) showed samples of AI-1, 11-17, 10-15, 5-44, 10-13, 11-14, 5-40, 3-108. Individual clones are affect the hybrids 3-106, 7-42, 10-18. The remaining samples of the effectiveness of resistance is significantly lower and ranged from 66,7% avirulent clones sample 3-76 to 88,5% of the sample 11-4, i.e. it's not effective sources of resistance. When choosing pairs for crossings requires strict parental selection of samples on the effectiveness of the resistance, because the accumulation of virulent clones leads to affect samples.
